Fly

OpenSky automatically checks airspace rules and provides a safety check-list for your drone flight.

The app will advise when the airspace is clear for flight, or if the airspace is restricted. In the event you cannot fly, we will let you know the specific flight rules that apply, so you can make the proper adjustments to fly in compliance with local rules, or change your flight plan.

“The first thing we do before accepting a job that requires drone data is check OpenSky. We can quickly see if using a drone is a viable option or if we need extra approvals from CASA.”

“OpenSky is excellent in navigating where you can and can’t fly specifically in our area, which is next to smaller airports that are typically not even known about.”

“OpenSky has all areas mapped out really well and it helps provide a quick overview of the area that I’m planning to fly in.”

“OpenSky is really instrumental in finding out where you can fly right before you take off -- it has definitely changed the way we work.”

We handle the journey, so you can focus on the destination.

Whether you’re a person who loves to fly for fun, or a business that uses drones for mapping or photography, OpenSky makes it easy to find out where it’s safe to fly.
