Wing and DoorDash tee off first-ever drone delivery service in Charlotte

Keep an eye to the skies as Wing and DoorDash tee up to deliver snacks, meals and more to Charlotte residents.
Starting today, drone delivery is now available from The Arboretum Shopping Center in southern Charlotte. People within about four miles can order from more than a dozen of their favorite restaurants via the DoorDash app. Customers just have to look for the new "Drone" icon within the app to start exploring.

Wing’s Charlotte debut landed just in time for one of the biggest golf events of the year. As the Official Drone Delivery Provider of the 2025 PGA Championship, Wing sent special deliveries to the Corebridge Financial Team players during practice rounds on the 18th green at Charlotte’s famous Quail Hollow Club.
