When our delivery drones service starts in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, it will be the first time this type of service has ever been available in a major U.S. metro.

Of course, we’re going to start small with deliveries to a limited number of neighborhoods in Frisco and Little Elm, but we hope to expand over time and bring the benefits of drone delivery to more people than ever before.

Drone delivery is faster, cheaper and more convenient for customers, more efficient for businesses, safer for communities, and cleaner for the environment. And the more stuff we’re able to deliver by drone, the more these benefits are realized.

We recently partnered with Accenture, a global consulting firm, to study the impact drone delivery could have in DFW at scale. While we’re just getting started, we couldn’t be more excited about the potential this research highlights.

According to Accenture’s study, drones could support around 2% of all purchases in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex at scale in the relatively near future, delivering significant benefits for the community.
