On April 23rd, 2019 we announced a significant milestone, becoming the first drone delivery company to receive Air Carrier Certification from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This is an important step for the FAA and the drone industry in the United States; the result of years of work to safely integrate drones into the national airspace. Air Carrier Certification means that we can begin a commercial service delivering goods from local businesses to homes in the United States.

We are partnered with Virginia and MAAP (Mid Atlantic Aviation Partnership) in the Administration's UAS IPP. We will be working closely with Federal, State and Local policy makers throughout the IPP. We’ve partnered with MAAP at Virginia Tech. Together, in September 2016, we conducted hundreds of drone deliveries to staff and students at Virginia Tech, and in June 2017 as part of NASA and the FAA’s unmanned traffic management system testing.
