What's your favorite memory of an airplane?

All my airplane memories are favorites. :) In particular, I remember being 9 years old and seeing my first hand-built RC airplane lift off a grass runway under its own power and take to the skies. It was a magical moment for me!

What's your favorite memory of an airplane?

While I have no way of remembering it, my Dad built a model rocket to greet me on my trip home from the hospital a few days after I was born. Most of my favorite childhood memories involve airplanes, so it'd be near impossible to pick my favorite. :)
