Look for the drone icon on the homepage of the DoorDash app. It will appear for eligible customers whenever drone delivery is available.

Tap this to see which merchants in your area are available for drone delivery.

Keep in mind that drones have volume and weight capacities. Smaller orders are more likely to be eligible for drone delivery.

If all your items don’t fit on one drone, we may split the order into multiple boxes carried by different drones.

Once you begin checkout, the app will guide you through the process of confirming where the package will be delivered.

During checkout, you’ll see the option to have the order delivered by drone.

If the option is grayed out, your order may be too large or drone delivery may not be available at that time.
