About the Role: 

Wing is looking for an experienced corporate operations engineer to join our Business Information Systems team. You’ll work alongside our engineering, business, and operations teams to help develop and integrate technology services supporting Wing’s overall business and operational needs.

In this role you’ll build and support Wing’s business technology capabilities, implementing and managing scalable, sustainable tools and platforms, coalescing multiple stakeholders around the most effective outcome, and addressing issues as they arise. As Wing’s business operations expand their reach you’ll consider future needs around maintainability and scale, and based on feedback and analysis of metrics and performance, you will drive further technology implementation to help Wing achieve our goals.

What You’ll Do: 

• Collaborate with Wing stakeholders to design and implement full pieces of a system or service, integrated into an overarching business technology solution to meet Wing’s goals
• Manage and administer Wing’s suite of business technology services, including those providing key capabilities to our business and operations teams
• Maintain and support underlying infrastructure technologies, such as those providing configuration, monitoring, and metrics for Wing’s deployed technology solutions
• Participate in Wing’s software development lifecycle process for implementing scalable and sustainable technologies
• Establish support processes and documentation for the BIS team’s technology solutions, ensuring a high quality experience for our stakeholders
• Act as an escalation point for supporting our services and infrastructure

What You’ll Need: 

• Strong experience with implementing and managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, along with related services and use of best practices
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, focused on service integration and systems automation (e.g Python or Go)
• Experience implementing systems automation and integration using industry standard technologies (e.g. REST / gRPC, containerized workloads, infrastructure-as-code, continuous deployment, source control, etc)
• Familiarity with implementation and administration of configuration management systems (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, etc)
• Extensive experience with information systems implementation across the complete program life cycle (e.g. analysis, design, integration, support)
• Ability to operate independently and decisively in an environment with ambiguous and potentially shifting requirements
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, particularly for keeping stakeholders and leadership informed of developments and progress

Bonus:

• BA/BS degree in related field, and / or relevant skills and equivalent practical experience
• 3-5yrs experience in similar engineering / systems integration + management role
• Strong familiarity with Linux systems management and configuration
• Experience with managing technical implementation / administration of Salesforce or similar SaaS business platforms
• Familiarity with integration management of Identity and Access Management systems (SSO, OAuth / SAML, ACLs, directory management, etc)
• Experience administering and integrating with Google Workspace or Google Cloud Identity directory platform.
